You can spend you life
Pretending that you’re free
The future ain't in the people's hands
It's in the companies
They trade in oil drugs and war
They live off the cash you earn
You're just another rat in the wheel
What they do ain't your concern
Keep your mouth shut and your head down
They feed us lies and sedate our kids
Charge us top dollar
For the pills that we don't need
Develop cures but we don't hear shit
Coz they ain't gettin rich
if no one's gettin sick
Spend your life thinkin you are free
But the futures in the hands of the companies
They're dealing drugs thru politics
They ain't gettin rich if no one's gettin sick
It ain't just medicine its profit driven war
Exactly what the fuck you think we're fighting for?
War for oil
War to fuel the machines that destroy this earth
Every bomb they drop
Costs twice as much as the target
But the victim's lives cannot be replaced
Not to mention the teenaged kids
That we tool up and send into a violent place
You can spend your life thinking you are free
But the army's in the hand of the companies
They've no idea what they're fighting for
Tool ‘em up and send ‘em to war
Nothin will change
They'll still keep raping your taxes
Our only hope is that the system collapses

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae

Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann

The Alberta crushers hold tight to their rank, astral-gazing grindcore, staring down abyssal torment all the while. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 31, 2020

No excuse, I should’ve already picked this up. When people can’t agree on what you’re playing but they know it’s metal, that means you’ve done it right. Metallurgical Fire
